OVERVIEW

"Fallout 4: New Vegas is aiming to rebuild the entire New Vegas experience in Fallout 4's Creation Engine. You'll once again be able to explore the Mojave, visit the town of Goodsprings, take part in the second Battle of Hoover Dam & experience content that was cut from the original." 

Fallout 4: New Vegas was the first mod project I joined and worked with to recreate many areas from Fallout: New Vegas in the updated Creation Engine.

RESPONSIBILITIES, AT A GLANCE

- Sculpted and painted terrain using Creation Kit's built-in terrain editing tools.
- Placed assets, items, containers, & set-dressed exterior and interior POIs.
- Collaborated with 3D Artists to get needed assets and kits created.
- Re-imagined levels from Fallout: New Vegas using reference images and videos.
- Actor (NPCs, creatures, etc.) placement and basic edits (appearance, stats, etc.).
- Designed loot tables using Creation Kit's built-in tools.
- Manual navmesh placement using Creation Kit's built-in tools.
- LOD generation (in-engine and with 3rd party software)
- Creating archive (ba2) files using Bethesda's Archive2 program
- Merged other level designer's work using Creation Kit's Version Control system

F4NV 2020 TRAILER

In October 2020, we decided to create a fun gameplay trailer for our showcase week!

This trailer was expertly crafted by our Audio Lead, tosikaas, and showcases a lot of the level design work my team and I have accomplished over the past few years.
