LEVEL OVERVIEW

Bow Valley in Dead Matter is largely a rural region comprising of large acres of farmland, the Morley Wilds (or Morley Trails), and the town of Morley.

The farms in Bow Valley were designed for large player groups in mind. POIs in this region are generally larger, especially on farms, making them a good option to set down a claim if you have lots of players in your group.

If the farms aren't your thing, the town of Morley has a few buildings to explore and loot.

I was primarily responsible for laying out building locations & roads, sculpting/painting the terrain, and set-dressing interiors & exteriors.

RESPONSIBILITIES, AT A GLANCE

- Sculpted and painted terrain using UE4's built-in terrain editing tools.
- Placed assets and set-dressed exterior and interior POIs.
- Collaborated with 3D Artists on environment art requirements.
- Used various modular kits to create structures such as buildings, caves, bridges, and pipelines.
- Lit interiors using proprietary light BPs made by senior team members.
- Balanced, edited, and created loot tables using Dead Matter's proprietary loot system.
